Activation & Licensing (Quadra Guard)

1. Online activation (Matrix)

In MATRIX, open Authorization (or Settings → Account) and choose Sign in on the web. Complete login on quadraaudio.com/activate — the site binds this Mac and returns a signed license to the app automatically (no file download).

• The app sends only a hardware ID; your password never enters the Mac app.
• Manage seats from quadraaudio.com/account.

2. Offline / .qkey activation

For studio Macs without internet access:

• In MATRIX on the offline Mac, go to Authorization (or Settings → Account) and click 'Copy ID' next to Hardware ID.
• On an internet-connected computer or phone, go to quadraaudio.com/account (or /activate) and sign in with your Quadra ID.
• Under Licenses, click 'Offline activation (.qkey)', paste the copied Hardware ID, and click 'Download .qkey'.
• Transfer the downloaded .qkey file to a USB drive and bring it to your offline Mac.
• In MATRIX, click 'Import .qkey' and select the file. MATRIX validates the cryptographic signature locally and activates immediately.

3. Seat limits

Each full license permits activation on up to 2 Macs. Deactivate a machine from Account on the website before moving a seat.

4. Trial

MATRIX includes a fully functional 14-day trial started on the web (one per account email and per Mac). Choose 'Start 14-day Free Trial' from Authorization. When the trial ends without a full license, Guard mutes the monitor path and blocks new route enables.

5. Troubleshooting activation

Confirm the Google email matches your purchase, that you have an open seat, and that the Mac’s clock is accurate. Contact support with your order email and HWID if verification keeps failing.
