Getting Started with MEAS

Updated September 2026

MEAS calibrates your Mac's audio. Pick your headphone model or run the room measurement wizard, choose a target curve, and enable correction. Activate with your Quadra ID (or start a 14-day trial).

1. Get MEAS

Buy a perpetual license in the Quadra Store, or plan to start the 14-day full trial from Authorization after install. You will sign in with the same Google Quadra ID on the website.

  • Store: quadraaudio.com/buy/meas
  • Requires macOS 26 or later (Apple Silicon or Intel).

2. Install and open MEAS

Download MEAS from Releases (footer or Account → Download), open the DMG, and drag MEAS.app to Applications. No drivers or kernel extensions are required.

  • Downloads: quadraaudio.com/releases
  • You should see MEAS after launch.

3. Authorize or start the trial

In MEAS, open Authorization and choose Sign in on the web. Complete login on quadraaudio.com/activate — the site binds this Mac and returns a signed license (or starts the 14-day trial). After that, MEAS works offline.

4. Pick a calibration source

For headphones: open the model browser and choose your headphone. For speakers: open the Measurement wizard, connect a microphone, and follow the guided sweep at two or more listening positions.

5. Choose a target and enable correction

Pick a target curve — flat, tilted, or custom — in the Target editor, then turn correction on. Use A/B compare to hear the difference, and dry/wet to blend the amount of correction.
